I ve let you submit contest ideas and vote you about them , the Traditional Art Contest Idea won the Poll!
I hope this contest is not only interesting to to win a small prize and get featured here and on Game Art HQ.com but can also be a interesting ands helpful experience for those among you who are mostly creating art using digital tools!
The Contest runs till the 15th August
The winner gets a 3Months dA Premium Account Subscription, the 2nd place a 1Month dA Subscription
The Top 3 will also be featured directly on Game Art HQ.com fanart.game-art-hq.com/
Rules
- The content must be related to a videogame or videogame character. No Original Creations are allowed
- 1 Piece per Artist
- The Artwork has to be made using traditional tools, digital re-editing to clean up an entry is allowed. You can use pencils, brushes etc. Colorating etc should all be done with traditional tools
- You have to mention what tools were used
- The entries must be done for this Contest, it has to be mentioned in the descriptions that they are for the Game Art HQ Contest
- The Winner will be determined after the 15th August via a public poll and the votings by all participants as usual.

The GA-HQ Interview #1!
Just a few days ago I had the idea to use a weekly journal to let 1-3 group members introduce themselves a bit through a few questions I ask them about their games, art, dA and other topics.
Both of the first two artists are members of Game-Art-HQ since years now, Mortalshinobi even since the start back in 2012!
Despite the changes at dA, please have a good read, I hope these interviews are fun to read, and help to get to know some of the group members a bit better!

It is time to find alternatives.
DeviantART was an awesome place when I joined it in ..I think 2010.
I created a Mortal Kombat group which became one of the biggest one for that game series here, also :iconfighting-game-elite: which is one of the most active and biggest fighting game related groups now and of course Game-Art-HQ with its over 9000 members ..I bet it is the most active and maybe among the biggest groups here on dA as well now and since years.
But deviantART changed. It changed this, it changed that. It became...worse.
Now in 2020 I am unhappy with many of the changes which made a great navigation more and more difficult with the times ..but Eclipse is the

Our GA-HQ Character Collab!
We have a big video game character art collaboration, organized in rounds here since years, the last one started in February and over 30 more game characters were drawn in the style of their artists, but always with the same guidelines: Full Body, no Background via a .png file.
