Well..somehow i, the amateur webdesigner managed what many big websites don't have yet.
1. a quite cool anti hotlinking watermark which only exists if an image was hotlinked from Game Art HQ.com
2. And that's even better..if google users want to see an image in fullsize they land on the best website ever...Game-Art-HQ.com and get a lovely welcome message.
I got nearly the whole trafic back from the time before Google updated its image search on the 24th January.
For you, the artists featured on game art hq.com already or in the future it means that your artworks are no longer available without the context and without links to your profiles here on dA.
With that i am 2 steps ahead of dA itself which still has over a hald million less visitors than before the google update. I wish the dA administration that they are finding a solution to get back their traffic as well and try to prevent that the deviations are visible without context at the google image search.

I wonder about how long this will work, i bet that more and more websites will use solutions like that and if this won't end in a massive backslash against google, they will find ways to prevent solutions like those of today. In the meantime i can prepare game art hq for future bullshit though, i will always find a way.
Ps: I changed the design of GAHQ once again in the last days again, how do you like it?
