Wow, what a great sense of scale and very clever use of perspective, too. I love how the castle is framed in such a way that it draws your eye towards it. And the shadows, clouds, etc. are all magnificently drawn. Fantastic work, and congrats on the DD!
Artist:
Such vibrant, eye-catching colours; really love the use of thick, prominent shadows to complement those bright colours. Love the composition as well, and how the lighting from the Hadouken lights up Ryu's face; awesome job!
Artist:
Now THIS one really draws you in; look how menacing Mother Brain looks with all that grotesque detail (is that drool I see, dripping down its chin?). Love the concept even more, as well as that really thought-out composition and the vibrant, blood-red tones throughout. Such great work!
Artist:
I love how dark and foreboding this piece is, like you have no idea what this environment has in store for 2B but you feel like it's gonna be bad. d: The thick, dark clouds just contribute to this (with how it partially obscures the landscape). And, I like how the artist had 2B look like she's stepping over something on her way to the object in front of her, rather than just calming walking over there; really gives her a sense of desperation, I think. Anyway, another well-deserved DD!
Artist:
And finally... imagine my surprise when I check out this artist's gallery and find that this is the only piece they've submitted, thus far. And what a piece this is; such amazingly vibrant colours for a normally desolate landscape. Love all those blues, greens, and purples and how they complement the orange of the sand and sky perfectly. Really impressed with this artist's sense of colour theory, seriously. This one's one to look out for, definitely!

The GA-HQ Interview #1!
Just a few days ago I had the idea to use a weekly journal to let 1-3 group members introduce themselves a bit through a few questions I ask them about their games, art, dA and other topics.
Both of the first two artists are members of Game-Art-HQ since years now, Mortalshinobi even since the start back in 2012!
Despite the changes at dA, please have a good read, I hope these interviews are fun to read, and help to get to know some of the group members a bit better!
Cheers and a nice weekend everyone!

It is time to find alternatives.
DeviantART was an awesome place when I joined it in ..I think 2010.
I created a Mortal Kombat group which became one of the biggest one for that game series here, also :iconfighting-game-elite: which is one of the most active and biggest fighting game related groups now and of course Game-Art-HQ with its over 9000 members ..I bet it is the most active and maybe among the biggest groups here on dA as well now and since years.
But deviantART changed. It changed this, it changed that. It became...worse.
Now in 2020 I am unhappy with many of the changes which made a great navigation more and more difficult with the times ..but Eclipse is the

Our GA-HQ Character Collab!
We have a big video game character art collaboration, organized in rounds here since years, the last one started in February and over 30 more game characters were drawn in the style of their artists, but always with the same guidelines: Full Body, no Background via a .png file.
