This week there were again more submissions than usual and it was pretty difficult to choose the outstanding ones since nearly all of them were great :-)

The job to show only the best ones gets more and more difficult!

Also: GAHQ has a Forum with around 40 registered members now! forum.game-art-hq.com/ join the forum and the discussions about art and games + fun stuff there!

Let's start with something unusual for this weekly feature. Not only is it not colored and does not even have a background but the Idea by :iconheribertomartinez: from the USA to illustrate the Metroid Games through the form of the Metroid is super working here. Interesting Idea.

Hero-of-time Revamp by iliasPatlis
Link & annoying Navi drawn as small elements of a big piece here by :iconiliaspatlis: from Sweden who created an artwork like i hope to see them in our current "Virtual Worlds" Art Project about the stages and enviroments of video games.

The Old Days. by xXBlackNexusXx
Another unusual art type for the weekly GAHQ submissions feature, it really rarely happens that 3d art based on already existing models makes it into this but here we have a Sonic render which looks super dynamic and almost official. Made by :iconxxblacknexusxx: from the USA

The Dry King by Irete
If there is Sonic there must be a Mario themed artwork to battle with it :-) Little Tanuki Mario vs a damn big Dry Bowser we have here, a relative unusual confrontation which i have not seen as a fan art before! This was drawn by :iconirete: our second featured Swedish artist now this week.

Shadow Hearts - First Fusion by vaxzone
Finally another really great cosplay submission which stands out, through its excellent execution but also a super rarely cosplayed and drawn character with these Shadow Hearts 2: Covenant characters. This was submitted by :iconvaxzone: from Singapore.

Birabuto/Muda/Moai/Chai by Combotron-Robot
Mario, Princess Peach and Bowser are super often drawn and three of the most popular characters in gaming history, but Super Mario Land? That Game Boy game where Mario fights some Alien guy never seen again? That game is almost forgotten it seems. :iconcombotron-robot: from Canada changed that a bit through his composition here which shows basically the whole game and its many weird characters :-)

Bastion. One of the indie games which were really successful and got a well deserved popularity. This is the slightly re-imagined main character from the game, redesigned by :iconateo88: from Singapore. I recommend reading the big description for this!

----------------------------------------
Beside the usual submissions our art projects grew a bit in the last week as well:

Eryth Sea by Jormel
This is a landscape painting from Xenoblade Chronicles and one of the first entries for our ongoing "Virtual Worlds" Art Project. This was made by :iconjormel: from the USA

B L ROUND 2 by XxEmoVeggiexX
Link's Blacklist's latest addition comes from :iconxxemoveggiexx: with Tentalus from Zelda Skyward Sword!
